Successful candidate will perform the following tasks: Document telecommunications circuits & maintenance procedures. Produce drawings of circuits, systems & telecommunication sites. Expand existing Motorola trunked radio system, fiber optic cable & multiplexers, and digital microwave. Design SCADA telecommunications systems for substations & distribution automation incorporating leased line, radio & fiber optic circuits. Place telecommunications equipment orders & write detailed technical contracts.

Skill sets required for this work: BS degree in Engineering, Electronics or Computer sciences w. 2 yrs experience or 2 yr technical degree in telecommunications or electronic technology w. 4 yrs experience; FCC General Radio Telephone or FCC equiv license. Telecommunications engineering training & background. Experience & training in fiber optic systems, electrical SCADA telecommunications systems, digital microwave radio, digital multiplex equipment, simulcast trunked radio systems & IP networking. User of AutoCAD or other drawing software. Proven abilities to work within groups & a team environment.
